Discovering Justice, a civic and justice education nonprofit housed in the John Joseph Moakley U.S. Courthouse, offers hour-long tours of the Moakley Courthouse from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; at the John Adams Courthouse, tours are offered on Mondays and Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tour participants learn about the justice system and its origins, as well as the history, art, and architecture of Boston’s magnificent courthouses from knowledgeable, engaging volunteer docents.
