4th Annual Pumpkin Pageant - October 30

The fourth annual Great Pumpkin Pageant was a great success this year with over 200 participants in the event. It was held on the children’s harbor walk in front of the Boston Children’s Museum on October 30th. Local families came out to paint and carve pumpkins. Area youth groups including South Boston’s Neighborhood House and Boys and Girls Club, Nazzaro Center in the North End, Keylatch program, and Germantown Community Center in Quincy also participated in the festivities. The groups were treated to trolley rides to and from the event courtesy of old town trolley. Pumpkin highlights included Red Sox B’s and many scary faces.

Taste of the Channel- June 14

Eleven great restaurants were the draw for 1700 participants at the John J. Moakley Courthouse June 14.  Throngs surrounded the City's IPod shuffle raffle-  available in time to download the Fort Point Channel audio walking tour, coming soon.  The Boston Harbor Islands NationalPark dispensed maps and information along with the Boston Metro.  The Friends table featured free bottled water and Revel's CD raffle as well.  We thank Conventures and the Metro for making this the best Taste ever.
