Committees
Following are a list of the Friends standing committees, their charters
and membership. Excepting the Executive Committee, membership is
open to anyone interested in offering their time, ideas and involvement.
Executive Committee – strategize and monitor
work of the Friends, and investigate revenue-generating opportunities.
Membership consists of the Executive Officers of the Friends Board of Directors.

Communications Committee – develop
short and long term marketing strategies, develop media and public relations programs and ensure high quality consistent communications regarding the work of the Friends and Fort Point to the larger community.

Fort Point Business Committee - meets on a monthly basis to work together on specific issues as well and network with each other. The next meeting will be held on Thursday, April 29th 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.at "e", inc. 337 Summer Street.
Program
Committee – develop calendar of events and programs
to be sponsored by the Friends, and engage community members and particularly the Fort Point Channel artist community in developing and implementing high quality, appealing programs.

Friends Committee – Develop and managae a program for the wide range of individuals and businesses that wish to support the work of Friends of Fort Point Channel, and to ensure high quality communications, benefits, and involvement for friends of the Friends.

Environmental Quality Committee – Represent the Friends
on Fort Point Water Quality Task Force, and establish an inventory
of environmental issues affecting the Channel.
