The
Friends of Fort Point Channel exists to:
- Establish
and maintain the Fort Point Channel and watersheet as the next
great place in Boston for residents and visitors;
- To
promote the historical, recreational, cultural, environmental
and community use of the Fort Point Channel; and
- To
support the growth of the area adjacent to the Fort Point Channel
in a manner, which enhances economic revitalization, public use
and access.
We
strive to create, support and promote a wide variety of programs,
activities and events that:
- Invite
visitors, residents and employees to enjoy the unique qualities
of the Channel;
- Provide
access to the water and its edge; and
- Create
enjoyable experiences along the Channel
